Join us for this special June Tribe Check-In in honor of Men's Health Awareness Month. This check-in is dedicated to creating space for conversations around Black men's mental health with guest facilitator, Dr. Gerald Myers.

About the event
About Dr. Myers:
Dr. Myers provides clinical social work services via private practice. Hen has worked in community mental health and on secure inpatient psychiatric units. He holds positions as an adjunct instructor at Simmons University and Syracuse University. Dr. Myers has memberships with the National Association of Black Social Workers (NABSW), National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and the Association of Black Psychologists (ABPsi). Professionally, Dr. Myers is interested in the decolonization of the mental health paradigm, Liberation Social Work, and the therapeutic use of the Nguzo Saba. He is a US Army veteran, earned his MSW degree from Syracuse University and his DSW from Simmons University. He enjoys music, Sci Fi, and loves nothing more than the laughter of his wife, children, and grandchildren.
